Who Am I?
I believe in design thinking, and I appreciate freedom and encouragement to take ownership over your experiences.
As long as I can remember, I have been a storyteller. I strive to create meaningful experiences, and I look to share my stories in intentional, intuitive ways. I believe the best designs start from an empathetic view of the story from every perspective, whether it be the internal goals and purposes or the end user experience trying to understand and consume the product.
I began as a web developer; throughout my time at Stony Brook University I worked for four years on the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences website. This background of HTML/CSS within a Content Management System helped me realize I wanted to be involved in tech, but I strove for a more empathetic and personable role. So my next big epiphany happened while working at jobs in Support, helping end users with various issues across the crypto community at Coinbase and DFINITY.
My true goal was to make highly technical tools and concepts accessible to the average individual.
Whether that be through UI Design, web design, technical writing, or videos and infographics, I sought to bridge the gap between a technical concept and the minds trying to learn it. I have a passion for the creative process and experience talking through dense concepts, for which I heavily lean on my patience, my empathy, and my desire to listen first to understand, then be understood.
